Lilian Meurin stands out on the music scene as one of the most talented euphoniumists of his generation.

After beginning his musical studies at La Gorgue, in the North of France, he joined Jean-Luc Petitprez’s class at the Douai Conservatory before being admitted, at the age of 15, to the National Conservatory of Music in Paris with Philippe Fritsch. A master’s degree awarded unanimously with the congratulations of the jury crowns his career in this prestigious institution.

“From the first time I heard Lilian Meurin play of his instrument, I knew that I was surrounded with a unique artist that was living for what he was doing. The beauty of the sounds coming out of his instrument mixed with the control of the phrasing give the pieces he plays an extraordinary depth and movement. Victor Metral created a nice complicity with the piano and gives Lilian a very nice support. Listening to them is a wonderful musical moment to remember.”
